Made for the distance between people

We build three things, and each one closes a gap. A frame that fills with the photos your family sends from their phones. A clock a parent can read from the doorway. A tag that finds the keys before the taxi pulls away.

A Flyruit digital picture frame

Your daughter takes the photo, the frame has it by dinner

A Flyruit frame runs the Frameo app. Your family installs it once, and after that a photo arrives on the frame the way a message arrives on a phone. There is no account to renew and no cap on how many people can send.

The screen is the part we spend money on. The 15.6 inch frame runs 1920 by 1080 on an IPS panel, the 10.1 inch runs 1280 by 800, and both keep their colour when you look from the side of the room rather than straight on.

If Wi-Fi is the hard part, the frame does not depend on it. Load a full size SD card or a USB drive formatted FAT32, or plug a USB-C cable into a computer, and the photos land the same way. Our frames join 2.4GHz networks, which is the band most homes still run in the back bedroom.

Day clocks

A Flyruit day clock

A clock you can read from the doorway

The day clock prints the weekday, the date and the phase of the day in letters big enough to read across a room. The 7 inch model runs a 1024 by 600 IPS screen, and the 10.1 inch model gives the same layout more room to breathe.

Six alarms and ten reminders sit behind it, each with an icon for what it is: medication, water, a walk. The tones are gentle, the volume has five steps, and the screen dims itself at night rather than glowing at a sleeping room.

It hangs on a wall or stands on a table, and the remote does the setting so nobody has to crouch at the buttons. The clock plugs into the wall, so it keeps its settings as long as it keeps its power.

Tracker tags

Flyruit tracker tags

The tag answers to Find My, and to nothing else

Flyruit tags are MFi certified for Apple Find My. They appear in the app your iPhone already has, they need no second app, and there is nothing to subscribe to. They work with iOS only, which is the honest limit of the certification.

Inside 130 feet you can ring a tag from the app or ask Siri, and the 80 decibel tone is loud enough to find a bag under a coat. Past that range the Find My network takes over, which is where a lost suitcase usually turns up.

Location data stays encrypted and anonymous. It is never stored on the tag itself, and iOS warns a stranger if one of our tags travels with them. A CR2032 battery runs it, and the ring loop and lanyard are in the box.

How Flyruit started

A Flyruit frame on a table at home

One frame, sent to the wrong side of the country

The Flyruit project started in 2021 with a single ten inch frame and a family spread across three time zones. The first one went to a grandmother who had never opened a photo app and did not intend to start. It worked because nobody asked her to do anything.

That is still the test at the workbench. If a product needs a manual to survive its first evening in a living room, the Flyruit team sends it back to the bench. We would rather lose a feature than lose the person who was meant to use it.

We stayed small on purpose. Three lines, a short catalogue, and the same people answering the email that arrives after a package is opened. Being the manufacturer means the price on the page is not carrying anyone else's margin.

Flyruit standards

What we check before a batch leaves

Every run starts with a sample from the line, and the sample is used the way a customer would use it. A frame gets photos pushed to it over Wi-Fi and then over an SD card. A clock is set, unplugged, plugged back in and read from across the room.

A tag is paired to a phone, rung from the app, rung again through Siri, and left in a coat pocket to see whether the left-behind notice arrives. The battery goes in and comes out to check that the lid still closes properly.

Screens are the part we reject over. A panel with a dead pixel or a shifted colour at an angle does not go into a box, because a frame that shows a grandchild badly is worse than no frame at all.

What we can point to

Certification, in the words we are allowed to use

Two claims on this site can be checked against the certifying party rather than against us.

Each line above names the party that sets the standard, and the page where the claim is printed.

About the brand

Three products, one complaint

A Flyruit frame in a living room
The 15.6 inch frame, the size most families settle on.
A Flyruit day clock
The day clock, read from the doorway rather than the wrist.

Flyruit makes three products, and all three answer the same complaint. Someone you love is not in the room. A grandchild grows up two flights away, a parent forgets which day the appointment falls on, a set of keys goes missing on the morning the taxi is already outside. None of that is solved by a better phone. It is solved by something that sits in the room and does one job without being asked.

The Flyruit range starts with the digital picture frame, because it was the first thing we built. A frame runs Frameo, so a photo sent from a phone in another country lands on a screen in a living room a moment later.

The 15.6 inch model shows 1920 by 1080 on an IPS panel and the 10.1 inch model shows 1280 by 800, and both hold 32GB before an SD card or a USB drive adds more. When the household Wi-Fi is the obstacle, the card slot is the answer, and the frame joins the 2.4GHz band that most back bedrooms actually reach.

The clock came from a complaint about the frames

People kept asking whether a frame could show the day of the week in large letters. It could not, and pretending otherwise would have made a poor clock out of a good frame.

So the Flyruit workshop built the day clock: weekday, date and the phase of the day, printed at a size that reads from the doorway, with six alarms and ten reminders behind it for medication, water and a walk. It dims itself at night, hangs on a wall or stands on a table, and the remote means nobody has to crouch at a row of buttons.

The tracker tags came last, and they are the strictest product we make, because Apple sets the bar rather than us. Our tags are MFi certified for Apple Find My, they appear in the app an iPhone already has, and they need no subscription. Inside 130 feet you ring them from the app or through Siri at 80 decibels. Beyond that the Find My network does the work. They run on a CR2032 coin cell, and they are iOS only, which is the honest edge of the certification.

Counted from the specifications we publish on each product, not from a category average.

What being the manufacturer changes

Because the Flyruit house builds the products rather than reselling them, the price on a page does not carry a distributor's margin, and the person who answers a question about a firmware setting is the person who chose it. That also means the range stays short. Three lines, a handful of sizes, and no model that exists only to fill a shelf.

It also changes how we write. The specification on a Flyruit page is the specification we print on the box: the diagonal, the resolution, the storage, the band the frame joins, the range and the volume of a tag. Where a number is missing, the page stays quiet rather than filling the gap with a claim. A frame is not called silent, a tag is not called waterproof, and a clock is not sold as a medical device, because none of those are ours to say.

The Flyruit way is simple: a good product disappears into a room. Nobody thanks a frame for showing a photograph or a clock for showing Thursday. They notice when the photo arrives from a daughter who does not call often, or when a parent stops asking what day it is. That is the whole ambition of this company, and it fits on one line.

Questions we get

The ones that arrive by email

Does the frame need Wi-Fi?

It does not. Photos can arrive over Wi-Fi through the Frameo app, and they can also come from an SD card, a USB drive formatted FAT32, or a USB-C cable from a computer. The frame joins 2.4GHz networks.

How many people can send photos to one frame?

Frameo does not cap the number, so a whole family can share one frame. Each sender installs the app once and is invited by the person who set the frame up.

Will the tracker tags work with an Android phone?

No. The tags are certified for Apple Find My and work on iOS only. We print that limit on the page rather than let it arrive as a surprise.

Is the day clock a medical device?

No, and we do not sell it as one. It shows the day, the date and the phase of the day, and it can hold reminders. Care decisions belong to a clinician who knows the person.

What happens when a tag battery runs out?

You replace it. Each tag takes a CR2032 coin cell, the kind sold in supermarkets, and the lid opens without a tool.

Where do I buy, and who handles the order?

Every buy button opens the product at our retail partner. Ordering, payment, delivery and returns happen there, under their terms.
