Every frame here runs the Frameo app, so a photograph sent from a phone lands on the screen without anyone pressing anything. The 15.6 inch models show 1920 by 1080 and the 10.1 inch models 1280 by 800, both on IPS panels that hold their colour from the side of a room.
Where Wi-Fi is the obstacle, the same frames take a full size SD card, a USB drive formatted FAT32 or a USB-C cable from a computer. Our frames join 2.4GHz networks, which is worth checking on the router before a frame is given as a gift.
What the frame does on an ordinary Tuesday
A photograph leaves a phone in one house and arrives on a screen in another before the kettle boils. Nobody presses anything at the receiving end, and that is the whole design.
The 15.6 inch model reads across a living room, the 10.1 inch sits on a bedside table. Both hold 32GB, both take an SD card, and both keep their colour when you look from the side.
